Make-A-Wish

Due to Anna's tumor and on-going treatment, her doctors recommended her for the Make-a-Wish program where children with cancer are given an opportunity to see one of their dreams come true.  Typically, the choices come in the form of a trip somewhere they'd never be able to go otherwise, but sometimes the child wishes to do something.  Some kids have wished to have their own music produced on a CD, other's wishes involved working with animals in unusual places.  Out of Anna's love for animals came her wish to swim with dolphins.  So, the Make-a-Wish foundation granted her a trip to Discovery Cove in Orlando, Florida where she swam with the dolphins.  On top of that, they also arranged for a behind-the-scenes tour of Sea World and a safari adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Anna could hardly contain herself as she got near the dolphins!  She fed them, petted them, and swam with them.  It was truly a dream come true and we are so thankful to Make-a-Wish for their generosity.
